Who pays for Fairway VS?
Only the trip organizer. Players, captains, and spectators always use Fairway VS free. The organizer buys one trip pass per trip.
What does a trip pass unlock?
The captain draft, the matchup draft, and live scoring (live scorecards and the live scoreboard) for one trip. Trip planning, including polls, RSVP, and Updates, doesn't need a pass.
How much does a trip pass cost?
Passes are priced per golf day, by group size. We're finalizing prices from real hosting costs, and they'll be posted on the pricing page. Running a pilot trip in the meantime? Email support@fairwayvs.com.
How big can our group be?
Small covers up to 24 players, Standard up to 40, and Large up to 64. Bigger than 64? Email support@fairwayvs.com.
Is there an Android app?
An Android app is in the works; today the app is iPhone-only.
Where do I get the app?
Fairway VS is coming soon to the App Store. Until then, we're signing up a small number of groups for pilot trips. Email support@fairwayvs.com to put yours forward.
How do I start a league?
Sign in to the app and choose Create a league. You'll get a league code to share with your group; anyone who enters it joins as a player. You can also invite people by email from your league's admin tools.
How do players join?
With the league code. Open the app, sign in, choose to join with a league code, enter it, and tap Join league. Codes aren't case-sensitive, and dashes are optional.
Can friends and family follow along?
Yes. Spectator mode gives people a live view of the scoreboard without joining a team. Organizers invite spectators by email, and spectators never pay.
What is the settle-up ledger?
A simple record of who owes whom after the trip, like your share of the house or a round of green fees. It records amounts only. No money moves in the app, and we're not part of any payment between members. Settle up however your group likes.
Can I get a refund on a trip pass?
Yes, in full, if you ask before the trip's first golf day starts. After that, passes are non-refundable except where the law requires or when a problem on our side kept you from using the pass. See the refund policy.
What data do you collect, and do you sell it?
We collect what it takes to run your league: your name and email, an optional phone number and Venmo link, your handicap, and the scores, picks, votes, and posts you add. We don't sell personal information, show ads, or track you across other apps. The privacy policy has the details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile and tap Delete Account. Spectators tap Delete Account on the scoreboard screen. Other options are on the delete your account page.
